DS has an appointment tomorrow

For glasses!  My baby needs them.  Good grief, he's only 4.5!  *sigh* That's about when I needed them, too.  My eyes are AWFUL.

Hoping this goes well.  We tried about 8 months ago, and while the doctor could tell he needed them, she couldn't tell at what strength because he wouldn't hold his eyes still long or answer questions in the correct manner.

I can't believe we're already at this point.  It doesn't seem like he could be this old already!

Good luck on the eye appointment!

I can definitely sympathize... The 10 Year Old needed glasses back at that age (still does, but started back then). It was hell to get a full, complete, accurate exam because he wouldn't cooperate with the Doc.

Yeah, he wasn't super cooperative. BUT she was able to get his prescription! He really needs them- I think one eye was at 1.5 and the other was at 1.0. She's going to make them half strength so he can adjust, and then we'll check them again and up it in about 6 months.

Yay. :/ Now the challenge is finding frames that fit his head! The only pair he liked were too big. We're going to San Diego tomorrow, so we'll pick some frames up there. Probably cheaper, anyway.

We found him a pair! We brought them in today to get fitted for lenses. My baby looks so grown up. *sniff*

Very little children look so cute in glasses. Good for him that now he will be able to see better. I hope he can keep track of where he left them better than I do.

Good luck with the strap!

(I had glasses when I was a kid... I kept "losing" mine... even though some of them had straps!)
