I was a big fan and so enjoyed his performances in Boogie Nights and Capote and other films. He was an Actor's Actor, if you know what I mean.

What a loss for his fans and for his family.cry

It's terrible news. I know what you mean about being an actor's actor.

He had three young kids too.
Apparently this was a relapse after more than 20 years- kind of chilling.

I was shocked when I read the news. This guy was an amazing actor.
I'm sad to see him go, and in those circumstances, sadness all around.

May he rest in peace.
