I ran across this photo on Craigslist, awesome way to stack firewood in my opinion.

Spoiler

Do you have any examples of ways to take a boring task and making it more interesting?

I don't have any examples... but that's certainly creative!

I sent that to my dad, he'll love it! I tend to do chores to music - that's the easiest way to get time to fly by. Also if I have someone to talk to - I don't need you to help me clean house, just talk to me while I do!

I am the same way Marie, having someone to talk to makes work not feel like...work.

I have a lot of trouble drinking enough water, but I discovered that if I drink it from a straw I drink it faster and will drink more than if I drink it from a regular glass.
So I have a glass with a fun straw and it helps me to drink more :D

You can actually BUY those kits... Google "DIY Straws"... then you can make your own "weird straw"

My mom likes to listen to Judge Judy type shows as she cleans. She'll turn all of the TVs on to the same channel, so she can follow the story as she cleans.

I like to put on headphones and listen to an audio book.

The Long Island Iced Tea is what happens when four different spirits collide to create one powerful drink.

INGREDIENTS IN THE LONG ISLAND ICED TEA C0CKTAIL

  • .75 oz Gin
  • .75 oz White rum
  • .75 oz Silver tequila
  • .75 oz Vodka
  • .75 oz Triple sec
  • .75 oz Simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water)
  • .75 oz Lemon juice
  • Cola

Garnish:Lemon wedge Lemon wedge

Glass:Highball or hurricane

HOW TO MAKE THE LONG ISLAND ICED TEA C0CKTAIL

Fill a highball or hurricane glass with ice and add all the ingredients except the cola. Top with a splash of cola and stir briefly. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

ETA: I can't help with what it did to EmmDee though

I had an ******* exbf who tickled me until I threw up a Long Island Ice Tea and I tried to hold it back, well, if you do that, it comes out the nose. Just saying.

I do this too. I either put on musical movies or movies I really like or music when I do chores. It distracts my brain to trick me into thinking I am doing something fun.
