I have a ton of drama going on, it is posted on zeta but I just don't have the motivation to bring it over here. I'm just kind of overwhelmed and would really like a day off away from everything.

Chipmunk, not to be confused with DCM's Chipmunk on zeta, aka FWB, is my music guru. Today he was asked to give me an upbeat artist to listen to. His response was Prince so that is what I doing. Going through the list of songs he gave me first. I must say that I really haven't ever listened to much Prince before.

Yay, I just heard from my cousin's mother's foster dad. Em (cousin 11) and Eric (cousin 12) are trying to schedule time to come stay with their grandparents and the granddad wanted to trying to arrange it to fit into my schedule since we live in the same city. I'm so excited to see them. I used to change their diapers. They make me feel old.

My day is creeping too because I'm off until next Wednesday! WOO HOO!!
My birthday is Saturday. I heard a rumor around the house that breakfast in bed may be on the menu for the day. biggrin
I know DH is getting my favorite pizza for dinner (I only get it a few times a year because they are too far from where we live to enjoy on a regular basis, which is probably good because I'd live on it).

Sunday we are having my mother and one of our DDs, our SIL and grandson over for whimpies and a Cold Stone Creamery cake. droooolllllll

And normally, the humidity isn't too bad here, but this year so many systems have been going through that are "supposed to bring us rain" but the rain isn't happening, just this lovely humidity instead.

Bolded - I'm not sure if this comment is directed towards me, but no sarcasm here.

I'm really not a fan of hot weather, even if there is no humidity, it is a bit too hot for me.

I think maybe it was towards me. My "eyeroll" is because technically last year was far worse, it was our summer of 90 triple digit temps. So while the thermometer says this year is "better", I sure am not feeling it.

I know how you feel. Where I live, it gets awfully hot and I can't stand it.
