Back to the reason for my post.... I started a 'how'd you come to this board thread' and in it I briefly touched on the drama that I encountered on Zeta the week I was a member. I didn'tgo into it because it wasn't important. I left that board because I didn't like the atmosphere.
I leftbecause I don't care what anyone says about me on other boards. If anyone feels the need to trash talk me on other boards I think that says much more about them than it does me. It also tells me there's difference in the boards that it didn't happen here.
I don't care what was said or who said it. This is to the people who felt the need to bring it back here.
I consider you to be the bigger pot stirrers. There's no way I would have known about anyone talking about me if you hadn't brought it up and I wouldn't have and don't care.
So don't try to use me to further any agenda you have or start crap.
I don't recognize your names and you've never spoken to me on the open board. What am I supposed to make of that?
I am going to guess that someone PMed you to "inform" you of something. I really have no idea what is going on but have not gone back to check the thread you mentioned. I'm sorry someone has upset you and I hope you can not let it ruin your good day. I was witness to everything that went down on zeta, I even "called you on it" in your thread because it was kind of crazy. I will admit that I was a bit weary when you came over here and hoped that the same thing would not happen again. I am glad to say that it has been nice having you as a poster here and I hope you have enjoyed being here.
I was on Zeta during the infamous week, but I didn't notice a carry over to here. And unless someone made a comment on the very few threads I don't read over there, no one has been bad mouthing you there since you chose to leave.
I did read your "How did you get here" thread and I don't see anyone there calling you out here for behavior on the other board. I don't know what pot stirring you're referring to unless the pot stirring was done via PM. If that's the case, I think contacting a mod would have been a better response than a call out thread.
I get not wanting to have drama follow you from board to board, but considering I (and apparently others) can't find the drama that you're referring to (on this board), this call out thread seems to be ... overly dramatic?

And yes Emm, you're correct. That's exactly what happened and it wasn't appreciated. The person or persons were being fake friendly and pretending that they were 'warning' me about a mod on this site talking crap about me on zeta.
The first and 2nd time it happend I ignored it. The third time I spoke up to make it clear to all of them (I think it's probably one sad person with multiple screen names) that if I cared what people were saying on zeta I'd be a member over there.
My sincere hope was that my post would be taken at face value which actually is in support of forum policy.
PCL, you might think pm'ing the mods was the better way to go about this but I'm glad I started the thread. The responses were very enlightening.

Last night I kept looking at babies and toddlers and little kids and dreaming of the day I get to have my grandchild at a 4th of July event
I can't wait until Thursday!!!!!!!!! We find out what we're having plus it's my daughter's bday so we are having a really big party to celebrate both things.
We're getting her a 'baby cake' for her birthday.
When she cuts into it the center will either be pink or blue.

Bull****. If you didn't want people reporting this to you, all you had to do was PM the person telling you that you didn't want to hear it. Or PM them to NOT PM you again period. Or you could have done the adult thing and asked the accused if it was true - or looked on the zeta board to see if it was true.
One thing true on this board as well as the other - some of us recognize liars for what they are.

I understand the sentiment that those who report to me that something unsavory was said about me are just as bad as the ones supposedly saying it.... And I too would be annoyed and distance myself from those people (I mean why else would you tell someone that except to hurt their feelings as well, I don't want to or need to hear whatever Suzy Q or Jimmy Joe is saying about me.......)
But perhaps You could have just broken it down said that, like your more recent post above? I'm not being uppity, really! Just saying. You OP was a bit confusing.
I'm a mod on the board and I wasn't pissed at all. Thinking a little bit further the accusation that a mod was doing that was really unbelievable for me. None of the mods around here is the kind of person that talks behind someone's back and some of us don't even hang around zeta anyway...
Winds I think you are making a lot of assumptions about a lot of things, I don't understand why are you picking on some of the posters at this board.
I've stated my point and I felt that I've been heard and understood so there's no reason for me to continue to engage. I'm off to enjoy another great day.
