Also, i don't get how it works. If I was the tie breaking vote why did it jump to 2.5 stars?
Not that it's pressing or anything. I'm just curious.
And FTR, it's not me starring all of my own threads.
Again, not that it matters but I felt compelled to add that.
I mean, yes ok I starred THIS one lol but I was testing the feature and I can't undo it.

There is a minimum number of voters required before the "star rating" will show up. That number can be changed by the Administrator Account (in our case, here: GPoP). In the case of the TPAM thread, you must have been the voter that "broke the threshold" of number of votes.
Once you have "voted", there is no way to cancel that vote that I know of.

I didn't say you were "the tie breaking vote" I said you were the vote that "broke the threshold".
Only the Administrator Account (GPoP) can access and or change how many it takes to break that threshold, but once broken, the average of all votes is what's displayed.
There's no way for "regular" people or even Moderators to see who voted what... I cannot comment on whether GPoP can see it.

I can't see who voted for what.

It never occured to me that we could star people's threads until ALL of mine were starred one day. I'm thinking it has to be a few people who are in on the joke. I'm wondering if it's my three 'friends'.

And then after the two people vote the stars come out as an average of what they both voted?
So if one person voted 5 and one person voted 1 it would come out as 2.5?
If another person came along and voted 1 star would the gold stars go UP because people are voting for it or would it go down because of getting a low rating?
overthinking things isn't fun so can somebody please let me in on the joke if there is one.
Are y'all starring every thread I start to show me how much of a board hog I am? Because I do try to keep it down.
I wouldn't be so self conscious about it if my threads were y'know, -good-. But when a post with zero replies is getting stars it makes me wonder if the stars are a way of telling me something else.
I can take a joke and I can take hints too but this is kinda subltle and I'm not really sure. If I'm over thinking this you can tell me that too. I tend to do that sometimes as well.
Is anyone committed to this color scheme? Married to it or in a Domestic Partnership? I'm asking because I'd like to break up with it. It looks exactly like the Geek Table. Can we start dating the purple again? It doesn't have to be serious just casual, we can still see other colors type of dating?
