Spoiler

I just got this message.  I spoilered it for length but the short version is that a friend has cancer and is going in for surgery, another friend sent a message of something easy that we can all do to show her and her family how much she is loved.

Peeps, can you share ways that your friends have been blessings in your life in times of need?  Or things that meant alot to you that friends have done for your loved one.

I'm looking for ideas for people who aren't CLOSE friends or family members but who still care deeply.

What a touching idea! When my dad was sick from brain cancer the thing that touched me most was a little book put together by my co-workers. They each found an inspirational post card (some were just beautiful pictures) and wrote me a private message. It doesn't seem like much but when I would get scared or depressed I would pick up the little book of them and I could feel the love they were made with. Even my mother would look at it now and then and it seemed to help a little.

That's sweet kapper. I'm glad to know it helped you. That was a very thoughtful gesture of your co-workers.
