General question regarding Invisapeeps boards

I just want to remind the community that discussing drama from other message boards is prohibited here. That includes the Peeps' Very Serious Work Related Site, The Geek Table, and any of the other countless message boards out there.

Technical questions such as the one RTL posted are NOT prohibited.

hmm, I have no idea because I did the sign up in the very beginning while mods were on top of it quickly. Can you send a second request?

I was approved on the day I signed up. That was the day that the zetaboard was created so I am not sure if that made a difference.

When I signed up for that board the same thing happened. I was told that they had a nasty troll infection and that's their solution. I had a friend pm a mod.

Maybe it was an accident Mary.

One day I couldn't get on. It was similar to the limbo place that RTL is sitting in now.

A few hours later I logged in and everything was normal.

Oh no, it was no accident. But I better not say anymore because they don't like it when you bring it up. I will get a warning about not discussing it on another board, which of course only reinforces the fear of actually discussing it in a truthful logical manner hence the whole point....and so on and so on.....

Ok, without discussing any particular case --how does a person know if they've been banned?

I'm assuming activeboard and zeta may have differences but (as far as I know) I've never been banned so how do you know you were banned? Is there an angel with a sword barring you from entering?

No, it just won't let you in and a banner pops up that says you have been banned but not why.

Though I don't believe discussing something that happened in a respectful manner constitutes drama, unless someone actually got dramatic about it. so um.... ya know. IMO most adults don't need to have their conversations censored and are able to handle controversial topics and hold their own.

My sincere apologies to all for bringing up any drama from another board. It was not my intention to do so and to upset others. I will make sure I censor myself in the future. Thank you kindly.

Your post did NOT bring up drama...technical questions are allowed. However, awhile ago, we had problems with a few posters using this board to trash the Zetaboard and that's when we moderators decided to institute the policy. I just throw it out there now and again so we're not accused of showing favortism.

And as always, if anyone does not like the rules, you're not being forced to be here.

Amusingly, I had no idea what these guys looked like. I saw the pic and thought "there is mischa and two guys". lol. You must have used it as an avatar for quite some time for me to recognize it.

I don't think that message was directed at anyone particular. My question was technical. Several people told me that I had been banned from the zeta board. So, unless they were making it up, there must be some type of indicator.
