::fingers crossed:: A company I've interviewed with and talked to their HR and PMs several times just called me again. It's a contingent offer, but they're 99.9% sure of getting the contract. It would start in two weeks.
This feels like it might actually be the job! I'm very positive about this. But kind of nervous too!
Any good wishes and thoughts would be gratefully accepted.
The waiting must be killing you because I am on pins and needles and it's not even MY job...lol. I just know how diligently you have been looking and I really will be so happy for you!

I have to admit I've been slacking a little this week -- still looking, just not 6-7 hours a day -- because I was really bummed about a decline I got. I interviewed on Thursday morning and the 'thanks but no thanks' letter was dated the same day. Which makes me think they'd already decided and were just wasting my time.
I'm not just going to sit back and do nothing now, but I really have a good feeling about this.
So, yesterday afternoon late, they sent me an application. Printed out four of the five pages and my printer quit. AGH!!!! Out of black ink. So, I filled out the first four pages, the last was the signature page. I was planning to run out of the house early, get a new cartridge, print out the last page, sign it, run back out to some place to fax it.
Then I thought 'I can go to the library and print that one page.' So, I did that, then asked -- just on the off chance -- if they had a fax machine for library patrons to use. 'Oh, yes ma'am. Right on the other side of those shelves.'
YAY!!
Faxed it off, got the confirmation that it had gone.
Then I went to Walmart for a new cartridge, instead of the office supply store. It was cheaper there! And...this is the tax free weekend.
So many things are going right with this, it all seems like a good omen.
