Yay!!  It went well -- I have everything they're looking for except one proprietary software that no one who wasn't a government employee would have.

Haven't heard back from the other company yet, so I'm still looking.  Also had a call from another company and chatted with that recruiter for awhile.

Maybe things are picking up some!

Oh I am really rooting for you LM. You have put so much into the search that it is bound to happen soon. If you put this much work into finding a job you must be a great employee when you have one!

Hey, wouldn't hurt to have a day job you don't hate that pays well while you are pursuing your writing career. Fingers toes and eyes crossed for you.

I've talked to three recruiters in the last week -- two phone interviews and the contingent offer. Things seem to be looking up some!

I've got to find my last SF86 (agh!), just in case....
