  I am not sure where to start and am worried I may leave something out. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I will be posting this on both boards.  A few months ago, probably about 7 or 8, I started having pregnancy symptoms. I was having mood swings, hot flashes, sore breasts, sick to my stomach, exhausted, ect. I was on the pill and didn't think to much about the symptoms at the time. I thought maybe I was getting sick. I finished my active pills and started the placebos. Within 2 days I started my period like normal. After a couple months (2-3) I noticed my body was still doing all these weird things. I had been brushing it off/ignoring it the whole time, not really realizing how long it had been going on. I knew I wasn't pregnant so I just thought I must be run down.

 I turned 30 on July 1st. I had a doctors appointment on the 2nd. I told her about my issues and she asked how long I had been on the pill I was taking. I told her since my postpartum appointment after the birth of my last baby, about 14 months. She did an exam and switched my pills. She told me to finish the pack I had and start the new ones after the placebos. I finished the active pills as directed and started the placebos. 2 days later, no period. 3 days, then 4, then 5, then 6. Even though I knew I wasn't pregnant I took a test anyway out of paranoia, it was negative. The day before I am to start the new pills I start bleeding heavily. I have never been so happy to have my periodbiggrin. I use 2 pads in 6 hours, change to a 3rd and stop bleeding. Minor spotting in the afternoon but nothing else. That was it.

 I started my new pill pack thinking I would probably have some break through bleeding due to having such a short period. Thankfully this didn't happen. I took my last active pill on Thursday. Had some cramps Saturday morning, thought it would be back to normal. I didn't start on Saturday, or Sunday. It is Monday early afternoon and I still haven't started. I haven't had anymore cramps either. I know it isn't due to the new pills, this started right before I started the new pills. I know I am not pregnant, I have tested and had an exam. She felt no tumors and as far as I know my pap came back good. I think I might be starting early menopausecry. Has this happened to anyone?  What was it like? I am only 30 years old. I'm kind of at a loss here. She wanted me to try the pills for 3 months and then we will re-evaluate. I still have 2 pill packs to take.

I think there is a lot of middle ground to look at before menopause. I have had a lot of irregular periods in my life. Have you been under a lot of stress?

Being sick, stressed, or numerous other things can cause irregular periods. Hopefully the doctor can figure it out and get you back on track.

I keep typing responses and erasing them. Since I can't get my words out {{{hugs}}}
