I spend a lot of time on the GardenWeb Home Building Forums gathering information about how to go about choosing everything needed for building a house and figuring out how I can afford to even do it with a less than stellar income.
I had to chuckle when I opened on a thread about a kitchen renovation and the poster describes the "nightmare" of washing pots and cutting boards in her wet bar sink. She was one-upped by another woman who said she washed hers in the shower. I guess we should all just be happy that we have indoor plumbing. Even as recently as the early 1960's a lot homes around here had outhouses.
