I'm not sure I have anything that meets these requirements. I will have to see what I can find. At least I don't have a bunch of running around to do tomorrow.
I am lucky, I can celebrate this holiday and no one will be the wiser.
Because gaudy for a lawyer is something like a pale blue shirt instead of a white one, or maybe a small print scarf around the neck.
I'm only half-kidding. I remember some years ago when a female lawyer came to work in a pink dress instead of a blue serge suit. The whole office was abuzz; you'd have thought she'd arrived at the office in a tasselled bra and g-string instead of a nice mumsy dress.
I completely forgot about it when I got dressed this morning. Altough I am wearing an old brown shirt with MOST of the tiny rhinestones it came with still attached.
It's the only shirt I have to wear with my brown pants that isn't a sweater. It's too warm for a sweater today.
Sigh. Next year, Mom. Cause if I put on makeup now I'd only scare my associate who is the only other person working late. And Mr. Huck probably wouldn't even notice
