Yesterday morning we had a city wide water outage because of a break in one the main valves at the water purification plant.  It lasted for several hours and a boil order was issued.

We have a sign on our coffee pot that says to use the bottled water until Friday and somebody used tapwater because the big culligan dispenser bottle was empty.  They were too lazy to get somebody to replace the bottle.  It's probably fine, but THERE WAS A SIGN ON THE COFFEE MAKER!  I drank it, so if I get cholora will it be a Workers' Comp?

Does the office provide the water and the coffee? Then maybe.

I would hope that the water gets hot enough when making the coffee to kill any germs. I don't drink the stuff.

It has always amazed me that people won't change the water bottle. So irritating!

I would be nervous about the coffee. But I think if it's going to make you sick, it will sooner rather than later.

It didnt bother me too much. I drank it. We get free soda water and tea. The water jugs are stored on top of the soda machine so not all of us can change it easily.

It was coffee. You should be o.k. Coffee can kill anything.

You should be ok. It is not the coffee that kills the germs, it is the boiling water. SO is a public health expert and I checked : )
