Just Leave It - Somebody Will Pick It Up

Tonight on the way home, I thought I'd time traveled to the old west and was following a wagon train up over a tricky pass in the Rocky Mountains. There was a mattress and box springs set ON THE BRIDGE, a few miles down the road a particularly ugly brown couch sat on the shoulder, then just past the second exit they dropped off a plastic tricycle and a doll house.  What kind of people just leave their crap on the road when it falls off the back of the truck?

I'm annoyed by ANY "stuff" left on the side of the road...

That includes stuff like that, but also includes litter that's absolutely intentional.

and on a vaguely related note, can anyone explain spitting on the sidewalk? what's in people's mouths that they have to spit it out right now and right where the rest of us are obliged to walk?

Oh Huckleberry that is so gross! I got in the car one day and had one on the bottom of my shoe. It almost made me throw up when I saw it there on the carpet. Luckily I was in my sister's truck.aww

Probably loogies -not that they have to be spit out immediately where others walk, but that's probably what they are a lot of the time.
