Did you score a good deal today?

Does sleeping all day count? That's totally what I did.

I bought myself a new blender, saved $144. It was a good but not great deal - now I need to get the resident smoothie maker to try it out.

I got an electric throw for my couch for $29 and a couple of good ideas of what my sister would like, but didn't buy them because she was with me. I almost bought a black purse similar to this but she discouraged me because she is giving me one almost just like it in blue.

I stayed at home too, visited with family a little but mostly pottered around. Small and I had fun making a stuffed cat from a pattern we found on the internet, then we went to a reptile program at the library and got to pet a 15 foot albino ball python.

I did clean out the pantry but was otherwise as indolent as could be. I admire those brave enough to venture out on Black Friday but am definitely not among them.

DH and I went after TG time at the IL's wound up early.

We got the kids some underwear (lol yay!), DD some slippers for $3, 4 compilation story books for $5 each- Veggie Tales, Curious George, Disney Classics, and something else I can't remember right now..., and a leather storage ottoman/bench that I've been drooling over for three YEARS for $26! That was a splurge, but I'm not regretting it yet! lol

DH went back out on Friday and found the play kitchen that I've wanted to get the kids for $86 (usually $110ish). My parents said to get it and they'd pay us back for it so they can give it to the kids at Christmas! It's hiding at MIL's until we drive up for Christmas. It's this one: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Little-Tikes-Cook-n-Grow-Kitchen/20934015
