It wouldn't be accurate to say Mr. Huck is hard to buy for, as he has lots of interests and is always happy with books and things he collects or kind-of-collects.
The problem is that if something appeals to him he tends to just buy it for himself, so I have to do a bit of hunting and thinking to get him something he hasn't got. And he is talented at choosing gifts for me so I suppose there's a certain amount of competition involved.
Do you find it easy to choose gifts for your SO? If you are exchanging gifts this year, what will it be?
Sigh. I have a few books for Mr. Huck but have not yet decided on anything else. I will have to find some time for browsing, at least on line. I wish he was a Wii fan or at least needed a water pick!

ES, have you decided on something yet?
I just ordered a book on heirloom gardening from the Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds company and he mentioned some reloading equipment he wants. A couple of weeks ago I bought him and junior new feather pillows that will go under the tree. I wish I could come up with something more exciting, but they are both pretty easy to please.

I think feather pillows are a great idea, ES, may I steal it for my mom and brother?

This morning, I ordered him a book from the Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company and will get him some reloading equipment. A couple of weeks ago I got him and junior new feather pillows. So far not very exciting gifts, but he is really easy to please. His mother just offered us one of her lambs as a Christmas gift! I hat to pick one though.
I don't know why I didn't comment on this earlier. My apologies.
My wife, this year has already gotten one present (needed it for Thanksgiving dinner) one of those Ninja Ovens (works pretty well too!). Other than that she'll be getting:
> a ring that has "My Angel" stamped into it (she likes Angels... so I like to get something "angel related" for her every year) > A "ToMarket" app to help her with organizing grocery shopping for the house (what do we need, what do we have coupons for, what did I see on sale, et cetera) and a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet Computer to run it on.

I got DBF a feather pillow last year (he loves it!). This year he is getting a Star Wars book that he really wants but won't buy for himself. I think he will be surprised.
I had a feather pillow once. Bricks would have been softer.
It depends on if it is big feathers or down or a mixture. Some are better than others. One pillow I had was always having little pointed feather shafts poking out of it
I our feather pillow! We only have one and we fight over it. :P It's loosing too much stuffing though, so I don't think it will be around much longer.
DH is getting 3 fiction novels, a Chargers fan stop sign for his man cave, and a Chargers apron and chef hat for when he BBQ's. I didn't think I'd be able to get him that much, but yay for Amazon sales! lol
