I love Half-Price Books! I always head straight for the clearance section and see what goodies I can find before checking out the stuff on my TBR list. I think I am out of space again on my bookshelves, but that's not a problem!

I love Half Price Books. It is DBF's favorite bookstore. I even found a rare, out of print cookbook that I had been searching for there. Also, a copy of Taming of the Shrew for 17 cents.
That sound like a great haul. Our Friends of the Library sale is coming up in a couple of weeks. It always has a huge selection and the last day they sell as many that will fit in a bag for about four or five dollars.
I didn't have the books in the den with me when I posted last night and I was too lazy to go upstairs and get them.
I bought:
Lipstick Jungle - Candace Bushnell For Better, For Worse - Carole Matthews Deck the Halls/The Christmas Thief - Mary Higgins Clark & Carol Higgins Clark The Shadow of the Wind - Carlos Ruis Zafon The Postmistress - Sarah Blake The Last Pope - Luis Miguel Rocha A Ghost in the Machine - Caroline Graham The Dead of Summer - Camilla Way The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society - Mary Ann Shaffer & Addie Barrows The Bug Funeral - Sarah R. Shaber

I love going to half price especially when I have nothing in particular I want and I can just browse for a while. Most recently I liked picking up magazines from the clearance section especially the ones with the local info. I would never pay $5 for it but can justify less than a $1.
