Today I'll be picking up my 2.5 year old nephew from daycare to spend the night with me. Yay!! His parents are going to drive to GA and buy lottery tickets. It's up to 480 million.

Good morning! Only 5-1/2 more hours that I have to hear the know-it-all down the hall trying to impress the data entry people who have to work with him. I can only hope they're smart enough to not buy his BS, and just don't want to piss him off by calling him out on it. I know the guy's the laughing stock of most everyone else who has to deal with him.

I am relieved it is Friday. It has been a long and uncomfortable week. Work has been tedious and irritating. The office has been much too warm for most of the week. I have been feeling a bit unwell.

On an unrelated note, when I go to the board without logging in, for some reason it shows old threads on the first page. Do we know why? Is this happening for everyone, or did I do something to my page?

If I'm not logged in, I still get the most recent threads on the first page, it just doesn't have anything bolded to indicate that something's been posted since I was in that thread last. Maybe you need to clear your browser's cache.

Thank God. I'm toast.

I may keep the kids up late tonight just so they'll sleep in tomorrow. Of course, with my luck they'll still wake up at 5:30. :P

Well, so much for that plan.  DD just fell asleep in her booster seat at dinner.  It's 6:50.   Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Letting my kids stay up late never meant they'd sleep in - just meant they'd be crabby when they woke up at their usual time. The only time they'd sleep in is when I had something I wanted or needed to do something early.

lol Yup, exactly!  The only times they have ever slept in were days I had to go to work.

DS got up at 6. DD got up at 6:40, after fussing in her sleep most of the night. Now she's running a fever. Should have seen that one coming...
