Husband Appreciation Thread

DH went away for business from Monday to Wednesday night and I've been taking care of LO by myself in the mornings. We usually divide the task and we manage to be out the door on time with packed breakfast and lunch, as well as coffee.

This couple of days have been chaos for me, the baby is very mobile now and it's a challenge to keep and eye on her and get me ready for work. She doesn't like to be left alone on her crib so I either had to keep getting her out of trouble or leave her crying in her crib.

All of this made me realize how much of a help is my husband, he's very good with LO and helps me a great deal to achieve everything we have to do in the morning. He's a good one!

Share your appreciation for your husband!

To please me, DH makes the bed every morning. I didn't ask him to, he just started doing it! (Do you think the enthusiastic kiss he receives every single time he does it has anything to do with that?)

lol @ iluvsuomi

I bet the kiss helps a lot!

DH also gets his rewards in the form of sexy time and/or beers ;)

DH hasn't been DH very long but he puts up with my special breed of crazy and that deserves appreciation all on it's own.

I don't have a husband any more but when I did, I always showed my appreciation for his participation in the marriage.

In the winter, when my husband hears me say to the dogs, "You want to go out? OK we better bundle up, since it's really cold.", he jumps up and says that he will take them out. I appreciate the hell out of that!

Preacher Man is wonderful with AB. He's very hands-on, not just in the fun things, but the dirty work. He's also right there for every specialist appointment and he works on AB's therapy "homework" with him.

He also picks up after himself, does the dishes, and helps with the laundry. Because I am a stay-at-home mom, he could expect me to do everything, but he understands that AB is a very hands-on child and there are days I don't even get to pee alone! He's truly my partner.

We are lucky to have such good husbands. I bet you are a keeper too, Richard.
