So, did you get anything else? Some metallic holiday ribbon, scented pinecones, or perhaps a pattern and fabric for decorative couch pillows?

Not that I've ever been to Joann's myself :)

I only got the two items I went in for!! My secret - I took Preacher Man in with me. He has no interest or patience in craft stores, so I didn't have time to wander around with a cart!

I have a 25% off everything, including sales items, coupon for Michael's, good until 9 PM. I screwed up by downloading it to my phone, I know. Fortunately it's freezing, so that will probably keep me from going. Well, that and the realization that they'll probably have even better % off everything closer to Christmas.

It was more a case of being lazy, Aardvark. I'm glad I didn't go, after checking today's email. 30% off Thursday to 2 AM Friday, 40% off regular price sometime Friday or Saturday, and some really interesting door busters on Saturday. I need to rething stocking stuffers.
