Ever notice totally random and unnecessary bleeping? I was watching Family Guy the other night and the station bleeped half of the word butthole. They weren't even calling someone a butthole, just referring to the actual body part. They didn't bleep out sphincter, though. I guess anatomically correct words are okay.
That particular station must be overly sensitive, because TBS and Adult Swim don't have a lot of bleeping.

The CW is a "broadcast" station in some areas... so programming sent from the central office would likely be defaulted to that standard. And... even though "butt" or "hole" are fine by themselves... the combination violates the following FCC standard:
