My sister and a friend are flying to Denver Friday for a long weekend.  They are going to Colorado for the sole purpose of going on one of the 420 Bus Tours.  They're like winery tours with pot.   Just picture, a bunch of middle age stoners touring pot growers, and sellers; touring glass blowing studios; and taking in cooking classes .

They have not thought this through, though.  Since they are flying they can't bring home any souvenirs.

well actually it is illegal to take *souvenirs* of that sort out of the state, and zi heard the costs are HUGE to purchase it

cause it is taxed

Sounds fun! just hope that they don't do the winery or the pot activities on the same day as the glass blowing, for safety's sake.

Oh boy, I am just thinking of what I call DH's nerd convention that is in Colorado. There are already beer festivals and tours going on while they are there, I can only imagine how many of these "nerds", as I affectionately call DH and his friends, wouldn't mind going on a 420 tour as well.

I remember that, here in Mexico, there's a Tequila Tour.
They take everyone in a train around the region where the tequila is from and you visit several distilleries and drink LOTS of tequila.

My boss wants to take the tour and I would love to do it s well!!!

Oh I'd totally mail home any erm... souveniers :D That is what I do from Michigan every summer lol.

It would be a total blast to do a 420 tour! Colorado is so pretty.

They are having a good time. Along with the tour, they've gotten to see some other scenic attractions and eaten at some nice restaurants. They have done a lot in a short trip, but tomorrow there is supposed to be several inches of snow. I hope they can make their flight out, because I've got her puppy and while he is pretty mellow, pups are hard work!
