I ordered a new camera on Saturday morning.  I didn't expect it to be here today, but I'm thrilled that it is.  Our current one is seven years old, and while it still works, we've been planning on getting a digital SLR.  I found one for $129, so I snapped that baby up.  I need to get a memory card, but after that, you guys are probably going to get sick of me posting pictures of stuff!

O.k. ... I admit it. The 12 year old boy in me immediately wondered "Hmmmm... I wonder what kind of 'new toy' could get a preacher's wife so giddy?"


Yay on the new DSLR camera. That's not a bad price if it's a good one.

How nice! So have you figured out all the settings yet? I had been using mine for a couple of years before I realized it takes video too. Evidently all of them do and I am a goof.

 Fujifilm.  It's a more basic model, but definitely an upgrade from what we had.
