DH and I didn't do the big wedding thing so didn't have any kind of registry. We decided that since his mom always wants to know exactly what to get us for gifts, we would use that to our advantage and work on a collection of Fiestaware square dishes. We were going to create a wish list on amazon and refer her to it whenever she wanted a gift idea and we would also watch for the good sales that Macy's some times has. Well, DH's birthday is this month so we told her about it. MIL talked to DH's grandmother and great aunt who normally send a check and they are going to buy him (us) $200 worth of dishes for us. On top of that, if we go through Fiesta Direct, it is free shipping for $150, by 5 settings, get one free, and a lot cheaper than Macy's. Total for everything we want is like $250 so he asked if she would be ok with putting everything all on one order and we will pay the balance. I don't think she has responded yet but I have no reason to think she won't do it. Such a long story to say, I can't wait to get our new dishes!
I am happy because I have a new technology that I may acquire for work if I can do a good job negotiating the deal. If I acquire the technology then I get to manage the business. Woohoo
I'm happy that my business is taking off enough to make me feel on the edge of overwhelmed. Reminding myself this is a good thing. I have two stones going to Wisconsin and one to Indiana even.
I'm happy because I got pulled over by a cop this morning about a half a block from work. After running my plates and checking my license, he let me go with a warning to slow down. Not getting a ticket always gives me a happy.
Wrapped up making 19 stones today (9 were custom orders, remainder for the store we have inventory in) and headed back to Austin only to have an email come in for another stone.

Yay for you! Business is booming!

I got my hair cut! I hadn't realized how long it had been until she started cutting two+ inches off. I keep my hair pretty short, so that was a big deal!
I have not been around much. My happy is that I am enjoying my new laptop (my first) thanks to my tax returns. My desktop was over 7 years old and running XP. Being able to take the laptop with me wherever I may travel is so convenient. I have had to depend on my Crackberry before this.
