My petunias are still alive!

It's been over a month!  I'm really shocked, too.  They were looking a bit wilted after some extreme humidity, but after a nice drink of water and some deadheading, they perked up.  They're getting quite tall, though.  Where exactly am I supposed to pinch them off to get them to spread?

great news.

you pinch off right at the tip of the plant then it forces the growth to go outwards not just upwards.

I love petunias, theya re always so festive.

My garden is doing ok, we had some pretty cold weather early spring and some frost! it slowed things down considerably, we ate tons of asparagus and my potatoes are doing fantastic. everything else is coming along, but much slower

all my fruit trees are doing great, apples, chiokecherries, wild plums and cherries

I'm jealous - another one of mine died. Now that is seven I've lost. The ones that thrived are huge though.

When I prune mine, I cut about four inches or so off the leggy ones and stick the prunings in a small vase. They look good for four or five days.

I need to get outside with some water. About half of mine look dead, but I think they're just really, really wilted.

we were out of town for a week with temps over a 100!!! and DH forgot to turn water on to timer so garden would get watered dang man LOL

anyway thank goodness we got some rain, things look not so good, but are still alive and he is a gardening fool today while I am at work
