My stepson just saw this and came down to tell his dad and me that actor Robin Williams has apparently committed suicide.  I always enjoyed his movies and was a fan of his show, The Crazy Ones last fall.  Unfortunately it was cancelled, so maybe that was a contributing factor to his depression.

With him and Carlin gone, there's really no more "greats" in the comedy world anymore.

He's suffered depression for years, and has battled addictions, too. Very sad.

The news shocked me, and made me very sad. He was one of my favorite actors ever.

I hope he can find the peace that he was looking for.
