Nothing like being without your computer for a few months to get out of the habit of going places.
I have a new job, which is actually a old job. The company I worked for for almost 10 years before I left to go to another company called me and offered me work. Since work had dried up at where I was and I hadn't had anything to do since May I started working for them again. All my communication with previous employer had been through email so I was VERY surprised when the *VP* CALLED me to offer me work. I'm now writing about my hobby.(Which is why she called me first, seems aside from being the company computer expert I was also their resident gamer. :))
What games do you like? I'm not a gamer precisely, but I do like video games.
Currently I'm playing ArcheAge, I've played way too much Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2(Over 400 hours combined) and am looking forward to DA: Inquisition.(It's supposed to have over 200 hours of content for just ONE play through!!!) Lichdom Battlemage looks excellent, but I am saving my money to buy memory and DA: Inquisition.(I want something other than the lowest settings). I spent a good deal of time playing DDO. It's a game I keep going back to when I'm in between games. It helps that I have a large guild that has a presence in pretty much any online game.(It actually started in DDO beta!)
If you like MMOs check out ArcheAge. Unlike most MMOs you can level just from crafting or PvP. Also... you can own a boat! Navel battles are a BLAST! PM me for more info or suggestions. I don't want to totally threadjack. :)

Awesome!
I love first person games, I can't remember the name of the game we used to played in college. Also games like Age of Mythology and The Sims (all computer games) I had a boyfriend that was a gamer and he loved it so much that he's now a video game programmer!
He introduced me to a few games and the one I loved the most was Pikmin! lol
So you can see that I'm not a gamer at all, but I do appreciate them :D
IIRC you can get the first one "Origins" for about $10 off Steam.
The world is rich, you can gain favor with your companions, even seduce your companions if you want, and your companions talk amongst themselves while you're running around much to the amusement of the player. You definitely want to start with Origins. It lays the groundwork for the rest of the series, followed by Awakenings, then 2. I THINK you get Awakenings and Origins at the same time from Steam. The voice acting is excellent.
I'm in between writing projects, I do dishes a couple times a week. Cook every other day. Titan vacuums and occasionally we'll borrow the steam cleaner from MIL and he'll run that.
Basically I game. That's what I do, and now I get paid to talk about it. :)
