Hello, all.

I have a headache that was a migraine from yesterday that is finally going away.

Looks we are going to have more rain. Good for our grass.

I think DS15 is going through growing pains. He said his knees, hips and back were hurting yesterday. That and a bad stomachache.

That is my update for today. aww

oh kali, your poor son. Hope his pains stop soon. I don't know if I really remember having growing pains. I always had a lot of aches and pains, still do, so I don't remember growing pains in particular.

EmmDee - it is nothing special: a Samsung ST94. I already have a "fancy" digital camera but is is often a PITA to lug around since it is so big. I wanted something I can put in my purse. Or pocket : )

I understand that. I have the camera on my phone, a pocket camera, and my dslr. Oh, and an older pocket camera for JIC kind of occasions where I don't want to risk one of my better cameras. I took all three cameras to Hawaii.

That is a bit of an understatement. I want to learn how to edit now. I noticed how I did minimal editing on a few of my photos the other day it made a HUGE difference. I also need to learn graphic design for my stone work so I may look into a class for that.

I know what you mean. I've been doing that too. Right now I am trying to learn how to use Paint and it is time consuming - or I may be a dim wit : ) What do you use?

Just Microsoft Picture Manager right now. The classes I want to take will use the Adobe products.

Froot is the BEST. She just brought me Indian food.

I use Picture Manager as well. Why Adobe? Taking a class is probably the way to go rather than muddling along on your own trying to learn : )

oh, I'm not choosing it based on it using Adobe, it is just what the Vector Graphic Design for Production class has. The local community college uses the Adobe products.

Down 2 people at work again. I can't believe we have to replace these people again. One lasted all of 6 months the other 4 months. It's not a hard job (a lot to remember but it's easy to do) and it pays well but we just can't seem to keep those 2 positions filled. The rest of us have all been doing the same job for a minimum of 5 years so I don't understand why these 2 positions never stay. Aaarrrrghhhh!!!!!

Same here kapper, we've been short staffed for a couple months now and someone just gave two weeks notice.
I'm not sure why but some jobs are more difficult to fill and find long term people to work.

I know one of the girls they hired was out of work for 2 years. She gave her notice with no other job lined up. I swear the job is not that hard and she seemed to like it. I guess she liked unemployment better...lol

That's too bad, Kapper. So many people out of work would jump at a not-hard well-paying job. I knew people hanging on to crappy jobs just to survive.

Well I didn't finish my closet like I'd wanted to, I ended up sleeping the entire freaking afternoon.. dreaming about alien invaders and killing people. Yuck.

And now I'm too wide awake because I slept too long earlier!

I just read safety's sig again and looked at her pic (Atlas). Now I am wondering if we should be worried.

To clarify: Atlas is the mythological person holding up the world. As we reside here, should we be worried?

I'm working on a stone today. If this turns into a real business for me I need a bigger air compressor because this have to stop every 15 minutes to let the compressor cool off since it is an oil less compressor gets old when you just want to get one done.

I always listen to what my gut tells me.
This morning - I ignored my gut.
My mother is going on a cruise today and I was taking her & her friend to where they got the bus that will drive them to port. Because my car is a two door, we decided it was easier for my mother to put her suitcases in her car, then her friend would put her's in there and they'd pick me up.
On my way out of the house I decided to not take my car/house keys because my husband is off today and he would be home when I get home, as well as our son.
WELL! DH locked himself out of the house!
The only person who has a key that is not locked inside the house is DS and he's at school.
So DH gets on a bus, which goes right by our house and drops him off a block from my work. Gets my mother's car keys off me then has to drive to the school to get the house key off DS.

My gut told me to grab my keys anyway, but I ignored it. NEVER AGAIN!

What a comedy of errors!!

DH has been having a weird week - today's key mishap and the other night when we went to vote and he put his sheet in the wrong machine & set off buzzers.

He's made me laugh a lot this week, though. biggrin

I'm sure my mother will have a great time - she booked this cruise before she got off the ship last March. She loves them!

I took a nap this afternoon and had another horrible nightmare. I was grabbed by a sadistic psycho and he knocked me out, when I came to I was tied up with a cut in my left arm. He pushed the nozzle of an air compressor into the slash and turned it on. The pain woke me up.

Yuck. I don't wanna sleep ever again! Every time I go to sleep I have awful dreams.

Talked to my mom today. She is getting married in Oct. to this really great guy. BG: Dad died Oct. 2010. The funny part to me is that Dad's ex-wife is planning on coming up from AZ for the wedding. She is a nice person and I am glad she can come, it just seems unusual.
