I saw a movie last night and found myself puckering my lips during one particular kissing scene. DH just happened to look over and he has been teasing me ever since LOL...

OH Waitress, that is too funny.

ES, that pie sounds amazing, enjoy your holiday

We have RAIN here. This means I get a day off and I am about to make lunch. Hopefully Frooty will join in and have lunch with me.

The funniest part for me is I don't really enjoy kissing (especially DH) so for me to react is so not like me that I embarrassed myself a bit LOL.

This kiss looked like  a good one though!

Today in JROTC, DS15 had his pant zip tied because they were too low.

The first swallowtail butterfly caterpillars have started eating in my dill bed. Last night there were three. One time last year there were about fifteen in there.

I've gotten more unpacked in the last ten days than I have since I moved! For the first time I feel 'unpacked', I still have a few boxes to comb through but thats mainly paperwork and I dread trying to create some sort of intelligent filing system for it all.

It feels nice to look around and not see so many taped up boxes. It is kinda strange not having it all loom over me, I thought having it *almost* all done would give me a feeling of security but I still have this lump of undefined stress hanging on.

And that was my ramble of the day!

I hope you can shake that feeling off soon and enjoy your new place FrootLoop. Maybe you've just been under stress for so long your body doesn't know how not to feel stressed? That happens to me sometimes. I'm all wired up and anxious for no reason at all.

ETA: ROFL @  Farmerguy- you crack me up, really you do.

Frootloop, if you want any tips on organizing that paperwork or determining what to save/keep just let me know. I enjoy filing and organizing. I actually need to go thru all my stuff, usually do a once a year overhaul after the taxes are done.

I actually have to force myself to shred/throw stuff out sometimes, lol. I have definite ocd tendencies. Just last year I finally went thru my instruction manuals. I kept literally every manual for every item in the house. Who needs the manual for a $10 toaster? I mean, wtf was I keeping that for? It doesn't even make sense logically. It went from a HUGE stack to a manageable amount that fit in to a couple of file folders.

I was packing the linens to move to the new house when I realized I have been hoarding blankets and pillows..lol. I tried to figure out why and all I could think of was the fact that my sibling were always stealing my blankets or pillow so now that I own my own I just can't get rid of them. I have 3 giant trash bags full of pillows and blankets that will be donated to the homeless shelter tomorrow.

I'm guilty of keeping all my owner's manuals too. Who really needs instructions for their curling iron? Or EOB's from 2008?

Mom Bragging Alert:

My son is going to Penn State on Sunday for a Science Fair. His experiment was one of about 8 from his school (and many, many others from other schools in our area) that placed first back in March in the first part of the Fair.

All first place winners move on to the second & final part of the Fair, which takes place at Penn State's Main Campus.

I'm so proud of him!

They leave Sunday morning and return Tuesday afternoon.biggrin

Edited because I apparently forgot how to spell.

I am going to admit something that may be stupid, but what is the purpose of an ice tea maker?

Basically it is just like a coffee maker. I know a lot of people just make theirs in the coffee maker but I can taste the coffee. I don't like the cold brew bags, they taste different. I don't do sun tea after learning that it can be a breeding ground for bacteria. And of course, no instant!! You can use tea bags or loose tea in the maker. I use a mix of black and green teabags.

I load mine just like a coffee maker, only difference is that it uses a big pitcher that you fill with ice first. So when it is done, it is ready to drink.

I make a pitcher or two a day, we drink a lot of tea!

Ok, I've always cooked the tea on the stove. Now I get it.

It makes it easier. It also has a button you can press to make it steep longer for stronger tea.

I used to have an ice tea maker, now I just steep the tea in a teapot and the pour it over ice. My kitchen is to small for too many appliances. I don't even have an electric coffee maker.

I totally went back to sleep this morning but its all Lucys fault. He snuggled up against me and wrapped around my hand so I couldn't move. So, we both went to sleep for about an hour.
