Poor things got beat flat in the storm Friday night, but they've perked back up.

i cant grow those things! they hate me...and they make me itch!

but i put a planter together of all lantana(?) that is looking pretty sweet, a lilac, a salmon, a hot pink, and a pastel pink.
it will all be dead in a few weeks cause my planters never thrive but looks good right now. :)

When Dad planted them last year, they were red, white and dark purple. Petunias don't come in blue.wink

Now, I have red, white, dark purple, light purple and pink with white ruffled edges.

The stargazerlilies are coming back too -- covered in buds!  When those bloom, I'll take more pictures.

Very pretty! They look very healthy. A couple of mine died for no apparent reason. I think the dirt wasn't firmed up next to the roots.

Some of the smaller ones were in a different planter box, I pulled them out by the roots, poked a hole in the dirt with my finger and stuck them back in the dirt.  They looked pitiful for about a day, then popped back up.

SM -- I used to pull the blooms off and make 'dresses' out of them on plantains growing in the yard.
