I just found out that CBS cancelled CSI: Miami.

Why couldn't they cancel something I don't like instead... like... "Blue Bloods" or "The Good Wife"

I haven't had TV for nearly 20 yrs. But my daughter just got me Netfilx. I'm considering watching all the episodes of Friends and Sienfeld that have become a part of our social landscape but I can't muster up the enthisiasm. So far my viewing has pretty much been Law and Order.

oh, I am glad they kept Blue Bloods and The Good Wife, those are my shows. I used to be all about CSI Miami but then something changed for me. I could never put my finger on it but Horacio just started annoying me.

I was done with all the CSI shows when they decided to become so very graphic.

I love the Good Wife, but I've nvery seen Blue Bloods.

Alice, I have liked a lot of very unpopular shows, too. If its, quirky and weird, and I like it it will not be on long.

It's been a couple of years since a new Star Trek series has been on, so maybe there will be another one coming.

I hope so. I have loved each and every one (although I can't say the same about the movies).

I think they canceled CSI New York too. I am a little sad but I watch too much tv anyway and that is 2 less hours a week.

This one doesn't bother me.  I've barely been able to watch it since Sela Ward was added to the cast...and I'm a MAJOR Gary Sinise fan, too.

That is funny, I liked her so much better than the actress she replaced (sorry can't remember her name, something greek?). Honestly, I could have done with the Danny character, his accent drove me nuts. I was always hoping they would kill him off.

I have all the Star Treks in my cue. I tried watching the pilot episode of Star Trek Voyager. It was so bad that it made me angry. I had to turn it off. I don't want to get emotional over television. How did they even get the show made with a pilot that horrible?!

Someone please tell me the show got better.

I cried during the series finale of Desperate Housewives.

I guess I wouldn't mind crying over a show. I cry over books all the time.
I admit I cried over an episode of Law and Order where this mentally disabled girl was begging her mother to let her keep her pregnancy. That actress was incredible!

Ok maybe emotions over tv aren't bad. I just need to get used to it.

Voyager was my least favorite of them all. I still watched but didn't really care about the characters as much.

I liked Voyager. You never knew what kind of do Katherine Janeway would be sporting from week to week.

My deepest apologies! It wasn't Voyager with the terrible episode pilot. It was Star Trek: Enterprise

The captain was a man. I think he was in a tv show back in the '80's where he would get bounced around time jumping in and out of people's bodies and he had to solve crimes with the help of his friend who could do research and appear to him as a holograph.

Scott Bacula was his name, his other show was Quantum Leap. I forgot about Enterprise so I do have to say I really didn't watch that one.

Booo, I guess I'll be watching less tv. Between this news and Bones has to get better next season.
