I am not superstitious but I always notice when a Friday the 13th is coming up. The fact it is Friday the 13th has nothing to do with me not roller skating at the skate party tonight. I am the world's worst roller skater and I don't feel like trying to break something tonight.
I have never viewed it as different than any other day. Superstition was never big in my family. My mom also never "lied" to us about Santa either. We always knew the gifts under the tree came from our parents.
I'm not superstitious either, just as Fraed we live with a black cat so no room for that kind of thing in our house. But I think that's funny how when something happens to you this day you can always say "Oh well it's Friday the 13th after all"
I asked a friend what she thought of Friday the 13th and she said "nothing really but one year my birthday fell on Friday the 13th and that was cool"
Yeah it would be cool but I happen to know that she was born on the 4th of the month (same b'day as my daughter)
I told her "you have to be born on the 13th for your birthday to ever fall on Friday the 13th. She said "yeah, I know" -Your birthday is August 4th -Yeah but that year August 4th fell on Friday the 13th.
