I'm laughing at you in the friendliest way possible.  I got that one wrong too and it was MY question.  So you can laugh at me too.aww

I multiplied the number I came up with by 5, but evidently Mensa will not be sending me an application any time in the foreseeable future.

A fun place to submit puzzles, games and mysteries to be worked out and solved.

When you know the answer post it in spoliers for those who are still trying to work it out.

The third one I think you'll get if you think a little bit more.  If you got the first one, the third one will come to you.

Here are couple:

1. If you count from 1 to 100, how many 7's will you pass on the way?

2. If 2 typists can type 2 pages in 2 minutes, how many typists will it take to type 18 pages in 6 minutes?

3. What is the missing number in the following sequence: 1, 8, 27, ?, 125, 216

You have to be in advanced editor.  I can't do it from my nook.

The way I do it is I type my answer and then highlight it.

ES that's correct but 759500- 759385 = 115
115*5 =575

How'd you come up with the extra $5? And the correct answer?
