I just fb'd PBJ to re-add me to that site. It doesn't seem that fast. hmm About a post every 10 mins? or so? But then again it is the middle of the night on a Sunday so maybe towmorrow. But I'm not seeing any mafia games over there

Hi kapper I didn't know you post over there. I forget who I asked. It's a little hard to switch between boards on this device but when I'm finished here I'll go look.

I invited several people. One's that have a more analytical mind that I thought might enjoy it like Richard. The game is going to be a lot less guessing than normal as there will be real clues daily.

I invited a few more people as well but at least one of them worried that she wouldn't be welcome.

Anyway, I have at least 24 roles to fill and I think at most about 15 or 16 people play here so I need to recruit some more players.

I'm going to have to figure out which roles to eliminate. That's going to be tough. The teams are pretty balanced. I put a crap ton of work into developing the characters and it pains me to think I won't be using 10 or so of them.

before your game, try posting on zetaboard mentioning that you have 24 roles - there's probably a few ppl who would join the game over here just to get a role (and see all the others)

I have asked for opinions on this subject a couple of times and not gotten an answer to I'm going to ask for opinions on an opinon thread and see what happens.

My daughter has started a baby registry at Babies R Us which is linked to Toys R Us. But we have family from all over who will not be coming to her baby shower. One of them has asked her to start a registry at Amazon. I think the Amazon registry is a good idea for people who can't make it because of the free shipping but I know that some people also like to shop for real in real stores.

So in your opinion - popular or not - how many registries is too many? Once she starts the Amazon registry she feels like she will have three and is concerned that three is too many.

I think giving more places for the family to choose from is good. People might be more familiar with Amazon too. I am not a manners expert but I don't see anything wrong with adding Amazon and keeping the others.

This was on the MSN MM board. The Sunshine "death" was the biggest of the 3. It was a mess, turned board members against each other all over the place and then blew up. There were 2 posters who happened to live near each other and were friends. 1 was named sunshine. One day sunshines friend came on and gave us all the terrible news that sunshine had been killed. People offered to take up a collection, send flowers, the whole 9 yards. Some didn't believe, but they kept quiet awhile and did some digging. Then it was brought to light that no one in that area died the way sunshine did around that time. No obits, no news paper articles, no anything. People got mad and defended their friend, others fired back telling them to open their eyes. Eventually after a huge board fight it came out sunshine and her friend were the same person. No one died. It was all for attention. People felt hurt and lied to. Friendships got ruined during the taking of sides. It was bad. I don't think I could ask DH to go through the hassle of answering all the questions that are sure to come to prove he wasn't lying if I died.

I thought about having DH come on the boards and let people know if something ever happened to me. Just in case someone wondered where I went. I almost asked at one point, I had uncontrolled blood pressure at the end of my last pregnancy. I went in at 35 weeks and 6 days with a headache that had me crippled. I was having blurred vision and chest pain as well. The risk of stroke and blood clots was sky high. They wouldn't let me go back home, hell they wouldn't let me out of bed. They induced the next day when what they tried couldn't bring it down. I haven't asked though because there was huge drama over previous deaths being announced (sunshine, the suicide, the woman whose husband was a high ranking military man). I don't want people to get pissed and start throwing insults at DH. I don't think he would take my death very well anyway and it would be too much to ask him to keep his cool if people started crap with him. I don't really think of myself as being well known though so I am not too worried about people wondering where I went.

who's sunshine? What woman with military husband? I didn't know we had any threads like that here. When I came to this site there were only three pages. I looked through all of them. I never saw anything like that.

Well, that situation sucks. I was only on MM briefly a few months before it closed so I missed that.

ok never mind on the passwords in my will. I changed my mind on that one.

I already have all the account numbers and passwords to everything else listed in there I thought about adding this one but naaaaah.

Here's my new unpopular opinion:

My husband is going to be so screwed when I die. This sounds terrible but I hope he dies first.

I agree it sounds terrible but my husband is screwed if I die. I am in charge of paying all the bills and everything has a different user name and password. I do have it written down but if he doesn't look in that notebook he's lost. I keep asking him to sit with me to do it but there is always something more important.
