Ahhh we are camping in town by Sturgis and will be riding over today. We were camped on other side of Sturgis last weekend and drove over!!
So far 5 fatalities .
It can be a wild crazy place!!

no MC accidents, in fact two more that I know of, a truck hit a bike and killed the rider and one passenger in truck was killed and driver in serious condition!
we are home now, it rained ALL day yesterday and WAS so scary riding to camp from Sturgis, we were about 87 miles where we camped, I could NOT see at all with the wind and lights and wet road...I rode some and was SO DAMN SCARED I could truly see my name in the paper as a victim....DS2 who is 21 and has his MC license, rode mine home, and DH rode his and I drove DS2's dually pickup with the pther three kids and my pupy Frankie....IT took almost 2.5 hours to go 87 miles! some of those curvy windy roads, were JUST frightening, with the rain blasting down (AT least NO hail that WAS the day before!) and the windshield wet and cglasses wet, roads wet and NO moon or stars, so cloudy...you really could NOT see anything~....there was lots of praying going on. The kids and I were behind DH and DS and I prayed I would not see what a good friend on mine did when her DH got a new bike and she was following him on, he was side swiped and she saw him leave her on this earth. I have already lost a DH and nearly my DS1 in an auto accident I COULD not have gone through it again. we made it home and all ate a WAY late supper of grilled steaks and corn and has warm DRY clothes on and sat in camper with electric fire place on...ahhhhh
