I have been burning through the books lately!  I'm currently on The White Queen by Phillippa Gregory.  It's an easy, historical fiction novel that I can enjoy without thinking.

I am reading a British horse racing mystery. Easy, light reading.

This is probably going to get me laughed at but I am reading a book called The Slab. It is the 4th book in a series. It has to do with the Gears of War video games on the xbox 360. The books fill in the time before/between the games. I like themsmile. That is my shameful confession for the day as well lol.

For those into thriller/mystery books, boy do I have a good one for you!

Level 26, Dark Origins is the first in a new series written by the guy that did CSI. There is a website with clips that you get codes for, they really enhance the book far beyond what I expected. Authors last name is Zuiker or Zuicker (yeah I am that lazy lol).

I know there is a second book out, I think the third one is expected within a year.

I just got done reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. I loved it. Best book I've read in a long time. It's about a married couple whose marriage is in trouble and the wife comes up missing. Great writing, great character developement... lots of twists. I do not want to say anything else about it, because not knowing anything else about the book makes it way more fun too read. lol. I could not put it down.
