Ha, we actually used to have yellow shirt Thursday at work. It happened by accident the first time but then we ran with it and wore yellow every Thursday. I will be wearing green on Thursday in your honor dqm!

Back in "the day" (you know, when I was in high school in the 80s) wearing green on Thursday meant you were.....ahem......horny.biggrin

And if you wore red on Friday it meant you got what you wanted.

I'd be in except for two things...

1> I don't own a green shirt.
2> I wear a "uniform" at work. Because of that, black is the color of choice for me.

I should have purchased TWO green shirts. I wanted to wear green today to boost my spirits but I wore the only green shirt I have last week during case work.

weekly? Wouldn't work for me. But I need something on Thursdays to help me. I don't want to use my kids as my touchstone for this. I have a real a need to keep these kids and my kids in different compartments.

I'm thinking maybe buy something small and beautiful and keep it with me just when I'm with them or working their case. Then I can channel all the emotions into it. At the end of the case I can either give it to them to remember me by or I can take a hammer and smash it to pieces if I need to.

I'm a talker by nature - more like a writer actually. I'm not allowed to discuss their case so I need to find a coping method that works.

Maybe I should just wear the same green shirt every week and then I can burn it.
