i had a question about the numbers after the phrase. If it's the number of letters in the word/phrase, then isn't it possible to have 26 letters in it and impossible to lose? Or is the point just to keep the number of letters to a lower number?

(i was wondering about this last night while i was trying to sleep )

I think that if there are, for example, 3 e:s that should count as 3 chances. Same with consonants. Let's live dangerously ; )

Counting vowels as two makes sense to me because there are so few of them, but consonants are more difficult. I think it's up to the hangman (you in this case) to try and make it as hard as they can. Whether that means lots of letters or just letters that are less prevalent in most words. People will always start with the most used letters like e-s-t but u-z-y are less likely to be guessed.
