Me? I don't know yet. We usually stay home and I won't complain if we do it again. We will have family in the area, so it's possible we may be out.

Normally, we  don't even stay up until midnight.

Yup, we're just a couple of old farts. wink

DH has to work so I will probably just snuggle up in bed and read the 40 doomsday preppers/homesteading books I've downloaded.

I'm not a prepper..I just think they make interesting reading..some stuff I can carry over to camping and hiking.

We are likely to go out to eat at the same chinese restaurant with the same group we've gone with
the last few years. We are pretty much fuddy duds too.

I'll be working right up until "ball drop" (I get off-shift at Midnight), and then going home for the traditional "first meal of the year" in my family: Ham Hocks, Collard Greens, Black Eyed Peas, and Rice.

I'll probably follow that up with a toast or two... and then relax until time for bed.

DS (14) has a party to go to...DH & I are staying home.

I just ordered a prebaked tray of pizza from my favorite place so we'll have that and wait until it's time to pick up DS.

I hope I can stay awake long enough. LOL!

I am going to have a couple drinks and play some games. I thought about getting some take out but I hate being out on New Years Eve. The drunk drivers scare me, and we always seem to have a few around here.
