Is there way to time stamp our posts?

Hmmm interesting question. I don't think I ever saw it but maybe a screenshot would work....

um no, I mean down where it says date. It says you made your post 21s ago.

And is says I made mine 4m 31s ago.

That's fine for for today but by tomorrow they'll both say "yesterday"

With no way to tell if they were posted seconds apart or hours apart.
I'm assuming that the site can do it because it puts the time in when you edit.

It looks like you can select it under your profile settings. I selected my day and time and my time zone so it seems to now be showing when posts occured

I don't know if you need to select both...as they are separate options

It's showing now thanks. I could have used that to my advantage the other day. Mine and tiger's posts were made within seconds of each other.

Your welcome. I don't think I ever thought about it before so didn't play with my setting. :)

Just a guess, but, your time zone is probably wrong.

Just so you know - I still would have lynched you, the timestamp wouldn't have changed my mind

Personally, I don't. But I believe it's supposed to be an automatic thing... if you get booted off suddenly, the system now "remembers" as much of the draft as you had at last "draft saved" point, before you got the boot... when you re-load a particular thread.

I haven't really experimented with it yet because, to me, it's a pointless option.

I wouldn't mind saving a doc on purpose if I'm in the middle of posting something and get interupted but I don't see a button for that.
