...try switching to a different one.  I switched from DH's laptop (which only has IE) to my desktop (which has IE, Firefox, and Safari).  I haven't tried Safari, but I am having no issues with Firefox at all.

Chrome is the best browser (as far as I have found) for use with Activeboard forums.

I run it on both Chrome AND Firefox (to separate the different boards I am on), and the Firefox one always seems a bit "sluggish".

In gen'l, I recommend Ctrl-F5 to clear browser caches for a truer rendering of the board.
