My office closes for MLK day. I'm on my second load of laundry and getting ready to head out for some errands. Is anybody else spending the holiday doing something fun?

Not me... But there's two reasons for that:

1> Holidays and "guest services" employees of ANY kind don't mix well (in other words, if you are in "guest services" and a holiday comes around, you WILL be working)

2> It's not a real holiday anyway. Robert E. Lee's Birthday was on the 19th (Saturday)... so the holiday to make it a long weekend should have been on Friday.
