DH took AB to dartball with him and won't be home until after 7pm.  I think I've only been truly home alone two or three times since AB was born.  I can't decide how to spend my time!  I want to read my current book, watch stupid movies while crocheting, and call up friends to come hang out.  Oh, first world problems!   ;)

Everyone suggests "naked time" because everyone knows it's a rare occurrence to be able to HAVE "naked time" (ETA: once in a family, with kids)... so take them when you can!

(the exception to that would be homes where nudity is the norm, obviously)

As far as "It's February in Pennsylvania!"... So? That's what central heat or furnaces or fireplaces were designed for!

ETA: Plus, if you have to ask why... well... That's answer enough.

O.k. ... I don't know how I missed this yesterday...

But the one thing you MUST do while home alone is enjoy a "naked day"

Nothing like the freedom of getting up out of bed and walking into the kitchen to get a bowl of cereal, and then going into the living room to sit and watch TV with not a care in the world. (for sanitary reasons, to be polite, put a soft, fluffy towel down where you sit).

I chatted with friends on the internet, I played some games, I caught up on a few episodes of Grimm, made progress on the World's Longest Blanket, then took a short drive just for fun.

Why does everyone suggest Naked Time? It's February in Pennsylvania! Too cold! (And I don't really enjoy being naked alone).

Oh, and except for the drive... all of that could have been done naked! (just keep the webcam "above the collarbone" if your web chatting included cam... LOL)

I'm getting a home alone day today. DH took his son to St. Louis so DSS can take a girl who lives there to the movies. I declined the opportunity to go along. We will be so glad when this romance ends and junior finds a girl closer to home!

My parents wouldn't have schlepped my butt to a city so I could go out. What are you going to do with yourself?

Same here!

When I was dating (in the "pre-car" years) if I couldn't walk it or bike it... it wasn't happening.

 

She's gonna have a naked day of course!

It's a little chilly still for a naked day. I did some housework, caught up on a few tv shows and made a coffee cake. It was boring but kind of nice.
