Avocado ice cream anyone?

I've been wanting to try avocado ice cream for a while, but the family says they will not try it.  Last night I mixed a batch and brought it and my electric ice cream maker to work to test out on my co-workers.  Experience has proven that we as a group will eat just about anything that is put in the snack area of the kitchen.  The taste test will be at 12:30.

I do not like avocado, so I would not like the ice cream version of it. However, I'm sure it's good if you're an avocado lover.

I don't think I have had it but would like to. There is a place near my home where I have been meaning to try it.

Cactus, I love avocado too. It my be best suited to savory foods, though. Two of us liked it, two didn't and three people declined to taste it. One of the guys said it would be a lot better if there were chips to dip in it. I probably wouldn't make it again, but enjoyed it.

There is a recipe for basil ice cream that might be good....

I liked the avocado shakes I've had. I think I would like ice cream too. I will try to have it soon.
