Not Tera (or Tara) Lott, sorry!  You'll definitely know the name when you get it.

Since PB didn't go after getting the last one:

1. Cut open
2. Annoying speech habit of bad public speakers
3. Biblical character who didn’t look back

No worries; I was too tired.

Um --- "Tera Lott" is my guess but is this someone famous? "Tara Lott" maybe?

Oh, and it looks like you got the last 2 syllables just fine. It's the 1st one you need to find something else for. :D

I had a couple... but I dismissed them as just too unreal to be real

slice-uh-lot

and

saw-uh-lot

They made no sense.

ETA: I tried them after you told PBJ he got the last two syllables right

Ok, let's try something a little more specific for the first syllable (I was pretty vague):

1. Pierce or cut open with a sharp instrument, often to drain pus (____ a boil)
1. Alternative clue: A thrusting weapon with a long wooden shaft and a sharp (or maybe not) metal head;  used by knights on horseback in tournaments

1. Alternative clue 2: ________ Armstrong

2. Annoying speech habit of bad public speakers
3. Biblical character who didn’t look back

nick-uh-lot? (1st clue)

Still doesn't work (as far as I know anyway)

Alternate clue: spear-uh-lot?

Nope... no better.

I've edited the clues a little more. You should get it now, I hope!

I'm surprised this one ended up being so difficult. Thought everyone would get it right off.

1. A fatigued or bored response
2. the edible nutritious seed of various plants of the legume family

eta: oops....so it's 1 clue per syllable? i removed the extra clue since i had 2 for 1 syllable. (remind me to read the rules next time)

Well... that explains why I couldn't get it to make sense... I started with the word FOR "non-kosher meat" (treif)... and couldn't make anything from "allow" work with it... LOL
