I didn't get the new barn cat spayed in time because it was so cold and I didn't want her to have to go back to the barn after an overnight at the warm hospital.  She had four kittens at the end of March.

One week oldone week old

Two with their eyes open, two still closed.

Two had their eyes open, two didn't yet.

Penelope is so little the six week old kittens look huge.

But they are really quite small.321344_666756910004398_782947272_n.jpg

And a bonus picture of my sheep, Seven Of Nine. (I can't believe I own a sheep!)

Kitties!!!

And why do own a sheep? I think is very cool!
I have a friend that her family has cows and I keep bugging her to hug the baby cows.

My mother in law has a whole herd and gave us a sheep for Christmas. She is going to have (hopefully) twins next Spring. Lamb is quite expensive at the grocery store, so we'll be growing our own. If I don't get attached to them. The babies are very cute and bouncy.
