I tend to prefer IP board as my forum of choice, as its what I mod on but that's a product you have to pay for. Activeboard and Zetaboard are pretty good free ones IMO. (I sound like a forum software snob, lol)

The original mods were democratically elected, I think is part of why that's such a problem.

Good morning....or not. My morning started off wonderfully with a message of being banned for two weeks. Looks like I've found the place where all the other banned people are hanging out.

I'm home. I forgot I put myself for a day off JIC I needed it. I had planned on going to work but really didn't sleep last night. I need to brush my teeth and make a caffeine run.

I'm glad I had wrote myself off as having today off. I forgot I did that! I had planned on going in, but was asleep til like 3.
Nope, i still say not everyone had all posts taken into account and a lot of us were banned for the same reason when we didn't understand totally what was going on.
I have done stuff worth a ban before, but this is not it.

Well, Plebian- I was pissed off at first and then I realized:
1- I am in good banned company
2- if we didn't, people would have gone through line by line and publicly ask "why didn't so-n-so" get banned". They had to do a blanket one.
3- Those that think by banning 20+ people from "encouraging sleuthing" that if they are safer on the internet are under false security- if this makes them feel better, eh.
4- I get to spend some time here. Aard has a nice place over here. I like how she decorated.
5- I appreciate that they explained who all was banned and why. I liked the transparency.


Hugs babe- what you did as +1 is a far outcry for getting banned. Had we known it was the wrong person- we never would have posted that. I know AG is in the same boat. I am guessing Tazer is too. and Yama...

 Good points. I finally got to sleep last night by realizing that hey I got banned, but the support from friends has been nice 

For me it wasn't even the wrond person, but I was tired from heaving all night and though Soccermom had the info. I didn't read her whole post so opened my mouth. If i had realized it, I would have been like WTF.
