It was AMAZING! Loved it, loved it, loved it.

Don't want to say anything that will give it away but AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

Took DD13 to see it as well. Now she wants to see the originals. DH says I have taken her to the dark side *lol*

The Dark Side is better.

The Dark Side has cookies and cake.

Richard, I would imagine you want to see it? You won't be unhappy with it :)

My son wants to see it. I had no clue he had any interest in Star Trek, but I guess he saw the first 'new' one and has read good reviews on this one. I haven't gotten into Trek at all, never understook the hype. I think Shatner killed it for me.

Spock was always my favourite. And I love a good time travel/alternate time line story. :)

DD13 wanted to see it because of Benedict Cumberbatch. (Sherlock Season 3 is supposed to be out in November, btw). But she got caught up in the whole story and really enjoyed it :)

I saw it.

Any future "Star Wars" movie, under Abrams, is in good hands.

Saw it last night and really enjoyed it. I feel like the casting was spot on. They managed to hit that sweet spot of both capturing the essence of the characters as played by the first cast while also the new actors making the roll their own. Zachary Quinto in particular.

I like Zachary Quinto - but then, Leonard Nimoy was my favourite from the original Star Trek :)

LOVE JJ Abrams... dude is brilliant.

DH wants to go see this and the third Hangover this weekend, so I'm glad to see the good reviews!
