Who wants to see puppies?

Our dog had puppies almost 6 weeks ago.  We're naming them for fun today (their new owners can change it if they want).

So, we have names for a few of them, but we're not stuck on any.  Any suggestions?

Puppy number that comes between 6 and 8 because that key is broken on my laptop.

And for your amusement, the size difference between the largest and smallest pups:

Any suggestions?

Puppy #2 looks (to me) like Jar Jar Binks... You decide...

He's got the "Huh? Did I miss something?" look to him...

Ok, we have names! DH vetoed a lot of the suggestions from other places. But I present, in order:

Rosie, Barnum, Max, Miss Daisy, Bailey, Nibs, and Shadow!

We'll see how many new owners keep those names. :)

Puppies #1 and 2 (aka Rosie and Barnum) are gone to their new homes! I must be insane, but I miss them. :P Even with the 5 others running around!

Aaaawww puppies!!!

I would love to have one, but DH thinks the cat could get jealous and then beat the crap out of a puppy :(
Yours are so cute, they all look like little bears!

By the way how is dog momma doing?

Mama dog is doing much better now, thanks for asking Des! She's going to be on treatments for Lyme disease for a month because she was borderline for it before she got sick.

Nibs is sick now. :( The doctor thinks he may have a very bad case of worms that has affected his brain. We haven't seen worms in his poo, but he's pretty bad off. We'll see if he makes it through the night.

We sent Bailey to his new home tonight! Max has a home picked out, as soon as they come pick him up.

And Nibs died.

Poor puppy.

I hope he wasn't hurting. The doctor did give him painkillers, I hope it was enough.

What breed are they?  Are you a breeder?  Soo sorry to hear about Nibs.  Was he the littlest one in the pics or the the one with the scabies ?

Their mom is a husky-german shepard mix, and the dad looked like a labrador retriever mix. Someone dumped the dad in our gated property while our dog was in heat. :/ Not intentionally a breeder! She has issues with cones (ie: She eats them for breakfast) so we needed to schedule her surgery while we would be home a lot AND when we had the $$. Figured the heavy duty gates were good enough until we could do that, but.... people are stupid.

I don't know where the dad lived or anything. He had no tags. We put him out and he hung around our gate for the next two weeks. That's Mexico for you...

Nibs was the tiny one, puppy #6.

We took the three puppies we have left today to the vet for a worm treatment. I warned the lady who wanted hers last night that he would need to be treated. We also got Shadow (the big guy with scabies around his eye) the first of his vaccinations, since we're keeping him. He wasn't too happy with that!

Oh, thanks for the backstory. I was really curious. It's great that you were able to find homes for so many of them. I hated to read that one died. :(
